Eczema CottonComfort was established to provide the best clothing products in the world for making the lives of those with eczema and other skin irritations more comfortable; especially the children.
Eczema CottonComfort was established because of the needs we saw in our own family experiences with eczema. Experiencing those needs and having Beth's 15 years of experience and contacts in the international specialty clothing industry, have made Eczema CottonComfort possible. We started business in 2006 and our web site became active in August 2007. As you may observe, we have not completed all of our start-up and set-up work. We are starting with a limited number of garment styles but hope to increase the selection each year.
Our products are made by a clothing manufacturer headquartered in Sweden. Some of the sewing is done in Latvia and Estonia but most of it and all fabric treatments are performed in Sweden.
The Comfymitt and Comfytoes designs were created and registered by Cotton Comfort (CC) in the U.K. CC has given Eczema Cotton Comfort (ECC) permission to sell their designs on our web site.
At this time our prices reflect both the high quality of the products but also the high costs of manufacturing textile goods outside of the emerging economies of Asia and the special tax/tariff advantages those countries have in North America. With time, we hope we can get our products in greater quantities and at less cost. We promise that all the future cost savings we accomplish will be reflected in our product pricing.
